VMS group, Mumbai comprises of Vakil Mehta Sheth and VMS Consultants Pvt. Ltd. Vakil Mehta Sheth, Bombay was formally set up as a partnership firm in 1972 by founding partners Dr. R N Vakil, Dr. M R Mehta, Mr. Ramesh Sheth. It is an outgrowth of an earlier firm setup by the same partners in 1959. The company presently has two major partners and numerous associates. VMS Consultants Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1975 as a response to the growing international markets.

VMS has a large inventory of State-Of-Art hardware in the form of computers and a large library of the latest software in engineering. It also has a special division dedicated to preparing customized software for inhouse consumption.
